To access the database through a server on a different computer via the IXUS Manager follow the procedure below:

1. Open your browser.
2. Type the IP address of the serving computer into the address bar followed by "/IXUS" for example: http://198.28.0.2/IXUS
3. Press enter.
4. The login screen of IXUS Manager will then be displayed.  You can use your login details to access the database information.  Contact your administrator if you do not have a user name and password, or use the following default details if you are the administrator:

User name : admin

Password  : admin

To access the database with a client installation you need the IXUS Modeller to be installed on your computer.

1. Open IXUS Modeller and cancel the "Getting Started" dialog.
2. Click on "Edit" and then "Preferences".
3. Type the name or IP address of the serving computer into the host address box for example: 198.28.0.2
4. Supply your login details to access the database information.  Contact your administrator if you do not have a user name and password, or use the following default details if you are the administrator:

User name : admin

Password  : admin

5. Restart the IXUS Modeller.  You should now be able to open, edit and save base station models from IXUS Manager server.

If you still have problems connecting to the IXUS Manager server and the above solution does not work, please check that the firewall settings on the server allows connections to the IXUS Manager.  For more information refer to the installation guide.
